There is a wide range of options in this scheme among which €250,000 worth of real estate property acquisition is the most popular one. Some other options are signing a rental contract with a hotel or tourism-related centre for a period of at least ten years, investing capital of €400,000 in one of the companies registered in Greece, making a bank investment of €400,000. Given the minimum investment requirements relatively less than in other EU countries, this scheme is one of the most advantageous ones for non-EU nationals.
